The study of the architect for the Hotel Eleon Grand Resort & spa aimed at the harmonious integration of the green roofs with the surrounding landscape, planting and topography. Extensive type DIADEM-150, with diadrain-25H drainage, was selected for the construction of the green roof infrastructure. The special design of the Diadrain-25H allows the maximum amount of water to be retained and gradually absorbed by the plants, while also allowing the root system to properly ventilate, and as such is best suited for the dry-weather conditions of the Mediterranean climate during the summer months. DIADEM Roofing Infrastructure Systems are EOTA European Technical Assessment Certified under ETA Approval 17/1015.
