The roof of Leroy Merlin in Maroussi, with an area of about 1,100 square meters, was turned into a green roof. Extensive type DIADEM-150, with diadrain-25H drainage, was selected for the construction of the green roof. The special design of the Diadrain-25H allows the maximum amount of water to be retained and gradually released to the plants, while also allowing the root system to properly ventilate, and is best suited for the dry-weather conditions of the Mediterranean climate during the summer months. DIADEM planted roof infrastructure systems are certified by EOTA European Technical Assessment in accordance with ETA approval 17/1015.
